Basic Rifle Class

This course is intended for individuals who would like to learn about the ArmaLite Rifle Platform (AR-15) – also known as the Modern Sporting Rifle.  This course is four hours long and includes classroom and range time learning to shoot this specific rifle action type.  Students will learn rules for safe gun handling; the particular rifle model parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; cleaning the rifle; and continued opportunities for skill development.  This class is ideal for somebody contemplating purchasing an AR platform rifle or somebody requiring a little guidance with one.  You may bring your own firearm or the BCOAC does have rental guns available.

Cost- $100 per person
