Enhanced Conceal Carry Class - March 1st
The Brookings County Outdoor Adventure Center (BCOAC) is home to two top quality indoor ranges. The firearms range boasts a temperature controlled, state of the art ventilation system with automatic carrier systems and a distance of up to 25 yards. The archery range is Olympic sized up to 30 yards, contains mobile buttresses, 3D targets and adult and youth classes and leagues.
The BCOAC is also home to the SDSU Extension, 4-H offices, and the Game Fish and Parks office. The Brookings County 4-H shooting sports hold practices and events in both ranges during the winter months and many other 4H programs are held in the facility throughout the year. Game, Fish and Parks host several classes throughout the year, including Harvest SD and the "Hunt Safe program" at the facility.

There is no need to schedule time on the range. During public hours you can walk in and utilize either of our ranges. Day passes are available by paying the respective fee or use your membership for added benefits.

Most Asked Questions
Yes, you can bring in your own guns and ammo to the firearms range. Please remember to bring them cased or carried concealed. Please see range rules for additional information.
Archery Range members have access to the facility from 5 am to 11 pm, 7 days a week. Please check the events calendar to ensure the range is open and an event is not being held.
